Our story

It started with an understanding of the frustrations and challenges of matching the right adults to the right young, seeing first hand the gaps that too many learners fall through, and the difference the right support makes when it’s done properly.

That experience led to the founding of Inspire Tutoring, built to provide education and support to young people, with and without SEND  Working closely within LEA frameworks to make sure support reached the young people who needed it most.

Over the years, Inspire EHC grew and so did our understanding of what tutoring actually demanded to be done well. Staffing support and tutoring aren’t the same job wearing two hats. Great tutoring needs its own expertise, its own relationships, and its own depth of focus. Trying to be excellent at both under one roof meant tutoring could never get the dedicated attention it deserved.

So, we made a decision: split the two and go deeper on both sides.

That’s how Inspire Tutoring came to be a dedicated service built entirely around one area of expertise: connecting learners with the right tutor and going deeper into that match than a generalist provider ever could. We carry the same values Inspire EHC was founded on: putting learners first, working hand-in-hand with LEAs, and others whilst never settling for support that’s just 'good enough'.

Our History So Far

2020

Inspire EHC was founded in 2020 with a single, clear purpose: to connect schools with the SEND teachers and teaching assistants they desperately needed. What started as a specialist recruitment agency quickly built a reputation across Suffolk, Surrey, and Cambridgeshire for understanding SEND settings from the inside out, not just filling vacancies, but placing the right people in the right classrooms.

2020 - 2026

Over the following years, Inspire EHC grew steadily by staying true to its niche. Rather than becoming a generalist agency chasing volume, the business doubled down on specialism, building trusted relationships with SEND and Health and Social Care settings, whilst developing a strong candidate pipeline through, and earning a reputation as a partner schools could rely on for quality over quantity.

Along the way, something else became clear: schools weren't just short on staff. Many pupils, particularly those with SEND, needed additional, tailored academic support that went beyond what recruitment alone could offer. The demand for high-quality, specialist tutoring was growing, and it deserved the same focused attention Inspire EHC had given to recruitment.

2026

Rather than stretching one brand across two very different services, 2026 marked a deliberate decision: separate to specialise.

Inspire EHC remains dedicated entirely to recruitment, sourcing, vetting, and placing outstanding staff in both SEND and Health and Social Care

Inspire Tutoring, having provided tutoring to several trusts and as an approved Alternative Provision for LEA and DPS for SEND Services, Inspire Tutoring was launched as its own dedicated entity, built from the ground up to focus purely on delivering specialist tutoring support, giving pupils, particularly those with SEND, the individual academic attention they need to thrive.

By splitting into two focused businesses rather than one broad one, both Inspire EHC and Inspire Tutoring can go deeper into what they do best, sharpen their expertise, achieve stronger outcomes, and make a clearer promise to every school, family, and educator they work with.
